知足常乐 (zhī zú cháng lè) When one is content; one will always be happy - this phrase is commonly used as a wordplay at foot massage parlours and Traditional Chinese Medical clinics. Chinese believe that every acupuncture point (on the body) is connected to a respective source (on the foot). By locating and treating the source, many ailments would be eased or cured. Understanding (知) one's feet (足) is the key to good health – and only when free of ailments, will one constantly (常) be happy (乐).
