A Little Daily Dose is a conventional book with an unconventional approach to learning Chinese. Through four bilingual short stories, colour-coded Chinese characters are slowly introduced, in English, to the reader.
Together with an online handbook of vocabulary, it is designed to spark interest in the Chinese language and accompany the reader during the transition between taking the first step and taking it further.
This handbook is constantly updated and revised Hanyu Pinyin charts have been published online.
As featured on Hoodline, this indie project has received the Hermes Creative Awards 2019 (Platinum Winner) and would not have happened without the support of like-minded people - read more about how it started on Kickstarter Spotlight.
A Little Daily Dose is available in San Francisco at Black Bird Bookstore and Green Apple Books (Inner Richmond).
